New England Wire Company Picnic 2014 at Loon Mountain

Employees of New England Wire Technologies and their families celebrated summer at our 2014 Company Picnic at Loon Mountain in nearly Lincoln, NH!  Picnic organizers ordered up some beautiful weather for Saturday, August 9th and arranged numerous activities for employees and their families for the day!

The Gondola Skyride was busy as trips to the 2,733 foot summit of Loon Peak afforded visitors amazing views of the White Mountains and Presidential Ranges as well as adventurous climbing through the mountaintop glacial caves.   At the base of the mountain, daredevils could take a leap of faith on the 750 foot Zipline Adventure across the Pemigewasset River, try their hand at the climbing wall, or perform acrobatics on the bungee trampoline.  Those slightly less adventurous amongst us enjoyed bike riding on the many paths and trails at the mountain and getting lost in the Log Jam Maze, while the kiddos bounced to their heart’s content in the inflatable bounce houses and game area of Bunyan’s Bouncin’ Backyard.

And of course, we all enjoyed a BBQ picnic buffet at the base of Loon Mountain at the Governor’s Lodge, complete with all the best fixin’s for a spectacular summer-time feast!

Special thanks to all of our friends at Loon Mountain who helped make the 2014 NEWT Company Picnic such a great success!  You guys were awesome!
