Congratulations to New England Wire Technologies President, Tom White, who received the Wire & Cable Manufacturers’ Alliance (WCMA) 2024 Distinguished Career Award on April 6, 2024 in Hartford, CT at the WCMA’s 38th annual Award Dinner and Investiture Ceremony.
The WCMA Distinguished Career Award recognizes industry leaders and professionals from the electrical and electronic wire, cable, and fiber optic cable industry segments, initially established by the former Wire & Cable Clubs. The winners are chosen by a committee of former recipients via a ballot process to consider the person’s character, credibility, and commercial or technical commitment to the cable industry. WCMA Board members make the the final selection of award recipients.
Tom held the position of Production Manager and Director of Operations for the majority of his 43 year career at New England Wire; transitioning to President in 2015. With his focus on innovation, manufacturing excellence, and a teamwork approach to every challenge, the employees of New England Wire cannot imagine anyone more worthy of the 2024 Distinguished Career Award honor.
