Process Engineer (2nd shift):
The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for providing engineering assistance for the manufacture of specialty wire products, under the direction of the Manufacturing Process Manager. They will assist in identifying opportunities to implement changes to improve products and/or reduce costs using knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling and production equipment, quality control standards, product design, and materials/parts. The candidate will learn all production processes within the Wire Drawing department. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM.
Electronic Controls Engineer:
The candidate selected for this position will support the electronic controls activities throughout the NEWTC facility, to include layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification of developmental and production electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems. Also responsible for debugging, design, improvement and training associated with existing or new equipment, either manufactured by suppliers or fabricated in-house. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Quality Control Engineer:
The candidate selected for this position will plan and conduct activities concerned with the quality assurance of manufacturing processes, materials, manufactured products, and testing plans, equipment, and methodologies. They will develop test methods and test plans to meet customer requirements, investigate or report questionable test results, and aid lab technicians with testing methods. The candidate will troubleshoot problematic test equipment; assure calibration, validation, and maintenance of laboratory equipment; research, procure, install, and validate test equipment, analyze quality control test results, and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff. Also responsible for producing reports regarding nonconformance of products or processes, production quality, root cause analyses, and/or quality trends while monitoring performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Quality Control Lab Technician & Inspection Specialist
The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for product verification, development of product tests, and upkeep, evaluation, training, and repair of the quality testing equipment. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Quality and Chem Labs, as well as the Incoming, WIP, and Final Inspection Stations. The individual will participate in and/or lead continuous improvement projects, failure analysis, product and material investigations, and new product/product type introductions. Additional duties include ensuring company-wide awareness of customer requirements. Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Machine Operators & Manufacturing Support Staff:
Multiple Manufacturing Machine Operator positions available in a variety of departments including Plating, Drawing, Braiding, Bunching, Stranding, Cabling, and Extrusion (HOURS: 2nd shift 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM and 3rd shift 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
REQUIREMENTS of machine operator/support staff positions generally include/may include:
• Good mechanical ability, attention to detail and the ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
• Good manual dexterity and visual acuity
• Medium lifting
• Ability to differentiate colors
• Ability to reach overhead, kneel, and stand for long periods
• Basic computer skills
