We are so excited to announce our plans for a major expansion of our Lisbon, NH facility in 2023!
In order to accommodate ongoing growth opportunities and to better support our customer’s needs, we will be adding approximately 36,000 square feet of new manufacturing space to our riverside building. This addition will allow for significant capacity expansion of our extrusion department and will also open up additional space in other manufacturing areas to permit continued growth and capability enhancement. We expect to break ground on this major building project in the Spring of 2023. Stay tuned for more updates on our progress and plans!
But we’re not stopping there! After an incredibly successful past few years, we’ll be reinvesting in numerous new equipment projects in 2023 to further improve lead-times, add to product offerings, and better support new and existing customers. All of our manufacturing departments are slated to receive new machinery and equipment.
We’re also investing in new LED lighting for our entire manufacturing facility and campus, upgrading to energy-efficient windows and heating/cooling systems, and further exploring other alternative energy options as part of our overall green initiative and environmental and social responsibility.
2023 is shaping up to be a truly exciting and pivotal year for New England Wire as we celebrate our past 125 years of custom cable manufacturing and build toward a bigger, bolder future. Whatever comes next, we’ll be ready.
