Audio Cables
OFHC copper, pure silver magnet wire, custom color matches. New England Wire Technologies prides itself on being an electrical wire manufacturer with the capabilities to design and manufacture custom audio cables to meet your toughest specifications. Our custom wire and cable engineers are fully experienced in designing systems that eliminate electromagnetic distortion, dielectric losses and other system critical parameters.
Braids, Cables & Strands
New England Wire Technologies is well known throughout the industry as an electric wire manufacturer of high-quality flat braided wire products. We produce flat braided wire for diverse applications such as ground strap, motor brush leads, circuit breaker shunts, flexible bus bar, RFI/EMI shielding, and shielding for mechanical protection of single or multi-conductor cables.
New England Wire Technologies produces a broad range of flexible custom cables and strands that are used primarily for manufacturing our specialty single and multiconductor cable lines. These un-insulated products are sold for use as motor brush leads, circuit breaker shunts, and flexible bus bars. New England Wire Technologies’ own production requirements limit the availability of many of the smaller flat braided wire conductors. Coaxial Cables
Specialty coaxial custom cables can be manufactured in a range of sizes from miniature 42AWG PFA insulated (.33mm O.D.) to 8AWG low-loss with expanded PTFE tape dielectric.
Interconnect Solutions & Coiled Cords

New England Wire Technologies subsidiary New England Interconnect Systems draws on its diverse capabilities as a leading cable assembly manufacturer to develop technically sophisticated, cost effective interconnect solutions for leading customers in the medical, industrial, automotive, and communications industries.
Power Leads/Flexible Interconnect Cables
For power distribution applications that require maximum flexibility, New England Wire Technologies has single and multiconductor cable available in sizes up to 4/0 AWG. Flexible interconnects are most commonly supplied in UL and CSA recognized PVC insulated constructions, however these items can also be insulated with silicone rubbers, polyurethanes or TPEs.
Litz Wire
Litz wire conductors are beneficial for reducing A.C. losses in high frequency windings. The first consideration in any Litz wire design is the operating frequency. The operating frequency not only influences the actual Litz wire construction, but is also used to determine the individual wire gauge. If the applications dictate special requirements for voltage breakdown or environmental protection, special film coatings on each individual strand are available as well as double and triple insulations to meet the requirements of UL and IEC 60950.
Low Noise Cables
A select range of advanced, low noise single and multiconductor cable has been developed here at New England Wire Technologies. In small-signal applications, noise-free transmission lines are necessary to maintain signal integrity. NEWtral® low noise custom cable technology reduces the effects of triboelectrical generated noise to microvolts, exceeding the AAMI standard.

Our broad range of manufacturing capabilities in the area of multiconductor cable, along with our wide selection of conductor and insulation materials, allow us to produce cables with characteristics such as extra flexibility, extended flex life, miniaturization, low and high temperature electronic wire and resistance to oils and corrosive chemicals.

Winding Wire
(NEWind® NE-F1®)
NEWind® specialty transformer winding wires to UL 1950 Annex U and VDE IEC 60950 are available in supplementary and reinforced constructions. These custom wire and cable products are commonly used in power conversion and are desirable in any application requiring additional voltage withstand. Please contact us for more information.
